Biografia
Nato in Gran Bretagna nel 1971, il cantautore Richard Ashcroft รจ conosciuto come il frontman dei Verve, alternative rock band formatasi alla fine degli anni Ottanta. Subito dopo lo scioglimento del gruppo, nel 1999, il cantante pubblica il primo album da solista, Alone with everybody.La "travagliata" storia dei Verve continua ancora e il gruppo, fino a oggi, si riunisce e scioglie altre due volte. Nel frattempo Ashcroft non interrompe la propria carriera e produce i dischi Human conditions (2002) e Keys to the world (2006).
