Biografia

Mary Isabel Catherine Bernadette O'Brien, conosciuta in tutto il mondo con il nome di Dusty Springfield, incide il suo primo 45 giri nel 1963 intitolandolo I Only Want to Be with You, da li la scalata al successo è tutta in discesa.

Nel 1964 incide il suo primo disco A Girl Called Dusty. Nel 1965 viene invitata a partecipare al Festival di Sanremo, durante la rassegna canora presenta due brani Di fronte all'amore e Tu che ne sai?

Nel 1995, a pochi anni dalla morte avvenuta nel 1999, pubblica il suo ultimo album, A Very Fine Love.
