Biografia
Il sassofonista Dexter Gordon esordisce a 17 anni nell'orchestra di Lionel Hampton, per poi passare, ormai ventenne, presso le dipendenze di Louis Armstrong.Nella sua carriera ha avuto modo di collaborare anche con Charlie Parker, Charles Mingus e Lester Young.
Tra gli album di maggior successo pubblicati da Dexter Gordon ci sono A Swingin' Affair, Our Man in Paris, One Flight Up.
