Chet Baker
Biografia
Il trombettista Chet Baker nasce a Yale il 1929. La sua carriera musicale inizia nel 1952, quando Charlie Parker incantato dalla sua bravura decise di assumerlo in qualità di trombettista nella sua band.Da lì ad un anno pubblica il suo primo album, Haig '53: the other pianoless quartet, che gli permette di consolidare la fama che si era conquistato nel difficile mondo jazz degli anni cinquanta.
Pubblica il suo ultimo album The Art of the ballad nel 1988, anno nel quale muore ad Amsterdam.
